Week 7

Can you believe that I am seven-weeks old already?? I'm trying to think about what is different from last week to this week... I am staying awake a lot more during the day and sleeping longer at night. The longest I've slept this last week was seven hours straight for my mom!! She was super excited!!

This week I had a good time with my mom's friend Kristen, and then I also saw my Godmother Jessica and my cousin Brenna, I had lunch with my Aunt Christie and cousin Lily. I met my second cousin Brandon, his wife Marie, and my third cousin Xavier! I also met my second cousin Derek-- he's here from France and I am so excited that I got to meet him! I had lunch with him and my other second cousin Heather!

Tomorrow mom is taking me over to my Auntie Aimee's and we're going to play all day and then when Unkie Matt gets home from work, I'm going to have another photo-shoot!! I am so excited! Mom bought me some baby swim trunks and some sunglasses. I'm going to wear them for one of the pictures... and maybe I'll even get into the pool!!

This week I sat in my Gram and Pap's Bumbo chair and I really liked it! I also got a new activity gym and I spent some time playing and discovering different toys. I have to admit, my most favorite thing to do is stare at the fan!! It makes me smile and even laugh a little.

Mom's hoping that this will be the week that she and papa can bring me back to North Carolina!! Maybe this time next week when mom posts about my progress, I'll be in NC with Ned, Elphie, Toebe, Eddie, and Mindy!!
