WOW!! What a crazy week!!! I think I had more fun this last week than I've had my entire life!! It was the celebration of my birth and we had a BLAST!! Here are some pictures and a recap of the week:

As you can tell from the pictures below, on Thursday night, mom and dad decided to give me some peanut butter to try. They wanted to make sure that I'm not allergic, and thankfully there wasn't anything to indicate that I am. I liked peanut butter, but I didn't like the GIANT bite that daddy gave me!!! :)

What a wonderful day! My mom found out from Uncle Scott that my new baby cousin was born at 6:43 am!! Charlotte Emilie-Marie Ghrist was born in MI and I cannot wait to meet her!!
Mom got this awesome Arizona Diamondbacks t-shirt with Brandon Webb's name on the back. It's a very cool shirt because my birth mom's last name is Webb and mom put me in it and took pictures for her family to enjoy.
Friday night, around 6:00, Gram and Pap arrived from Michigan! I was so excited to see them and to hang out with them. I missed them a lot over the last month, but it was sure good to seem them again!!! They drove all the way from MI for my birthday party!!
May 14
Saturday morning was spent with mom and dad getting things organized and cleaned up for my party. Gram and Pap helped too, and then guess what? My Grandma and Grandpa Walker surprised us with a visit!!! They came all the way from Indiana to see me!!! I hadn't seen them since February and it was awesome to see them and show them how well I can walk!! Daddy was surprised too and didn't know that they were coming! :)
My first birthday party was wonderful. We had Mexican food that mom made ahead of time, and then I had an amazing red-velvet with cream cheese frosting frog cake! It was the best thing that I've ever had to eat!!

May 15
On Sunday, we got up and had breakfast- mom made ham and cheesy hashbrown casserole that was yummy!! Then we got in the car and headed to Wrightsville Beach! Gram rode with Grandma and Grandpa Walker, and then Pap rode in Chuck Dio with us. It took us about two-and-a-half-hours to get there, but once we arrived, it was perfect! It wasn't too hot or cold and there was a nice sea breeze. I was ready to play in the surf!

After we had played in the sun for a while, we were hungry so we walked over to The Oceanic and had dinner on the pier! It was wonderful!!
I took a nap on the way home, but then I was ready to play once we got back home. I enjoyed playing with my new guitar and had fun with my grandparents.
May 16
My Gram and Pap left early Monday morning and because I didn't go to bed until after 9:30 on Sunday, I slept in quite a bit on Monday. When I got up, I played with my new toys. I really like the microphone that I got and my guitar. I've got some other toys but mom needs to buy batteries before I can use them.

May 17
That brings us to today. Daddy left this morning for Indianapolis and I won't see him until Thursday night when he gets home from work. I kept looking for him to come home from work today, but he didn't come through the door. I miss him a lot.
When I got up this morning, mom dressed me in short-overalls and then I had breakfast. I played with Purry for a little bit and then it was time for my morning nap.
When I got up, I had slept for two and a half hours!!
Mom took me downstairs and we had lunch together.
After lunch I played for a long time and started to get tired, but I wouldn't take a second nap. I got very "loopy" according to mom. I played with my barn, and then played with my feet.
At dinner I could barely keep my eyes open! I was so tired!
That's it for this week. I'll post again next week!! Then again, maybe I'll start posting something everyday... we'll see.
