Me at my 15-Month Well Baby Appointment!
This morning, mom and I headed to my 15-month well-baby appointment. We had been going to Cary Pediatrics (Apex office) and liked LOVED our nurse practitioner. All was well until she told us (at my nine-month appointment) that she was moving and leaving the practice. So, we were without a doctor. I got sick and had to go in and saw one guy (mom was not impressed) and then when I went to my one-year appointment, mom was not impressed with the doctor that I saw that day either.
Then, mom read about a new practice opening in Holly Springs on her Triangle Mommies chat board. Everyone on there was RAVING about the doctors and said they were super excited that Jeffers, Artman & Mann was coming to Holly Springs. Mom looked online and saw that they weren't going to be open and accepting new patients until after my 1st birthday, so she took me to Apex Pediatrics for my one year, and then didn't reschedule for my 15-month. So today, we gave Dr. Artman a chance.
HE
IS
AWESOME!
So friendly, very easy to talk to, and very understanding. He is accepting of our alternative vaccination schedule, but also, most importantly, he was EXCELLENT with me. He was funny, made me laugh, and was everything that mom had hoped he'd be (and she said he's cute- but don't tell daddy). ;)
Here are some pictures from my visit today:
My height (at my one-year) and my height today:
WAS: 30.5in (74th%) IS: 32in (82nd%)
My weight (at my one-year) and my weight today:
WAS: 22 lbs (38th%) IS: 23.2 lbs (34th%)
My head size (at my one-year) and my head size today:
WAS: 18in (31st%) IS 18.23in (29th%)
I also got two shots today (Chicken Pox because there are a number of outbreaks in the area, and DPaT). I only cried for about ten seconds and then I was happy again! We go back in November for my 18-month appointment!
Since I'm here, I'll tell you a bit more about the last few days and share some pictures:

Me and Purry
On Thursday, we had a breakfast playdate here at the house and Grace came over, Oliver came over, and so did Maddie, Reagen, and Hadley. It was so much fun!!
Then, last night we went to dinner at the local Mexican place. Mom showed me how to dip my chips in salsa and I LOVED it!!
Have a great weekend! I'll write again on Tuesday with pictures from this weekend and Monday!
:)
