9 Weeks (Also 2 months)

Well, my mom got her wish- we're home in North Carolina!! On Friday (July 9) my dad called mom and asked her if she wanted to come home. She was so excited she cried!

I got to meet my Uncle Dave, Aunt Heather, and my three cousins (Eamon, Aine, and Benton) from Arizona! They arrived at Gram and Pap's on Friday night/early Saturday. We went to lunch at Mongolian BBQ on Saturday for lunch, and then mom and I left to pick up Papa from the airport!

My daddy couldn't believe how big I was! He fed me and held me all day-- it was so awesome! Then everyone came over to Gram and Pap's for a picture... it's a very special picture because it's the first one that Gram has of all her grandchildren!

After we took some pictures, we headed to Outback Steakhouse to celebrate us getting to go home. It was awesome to be there with my mom's entire family... a first for her in YEARS!!

We came home from dinner and then rocked out for a little bit on the Wii. My mom sang, while my Uncle Scott and Uncle Dave played guitar. Pap also played guitar... and then Uncle Scott had to leave, so mom jumped on the guitar and Pap sang. We didn't stay up very long because we had a LONG drive ahead of us back to NC in the morning.

My mom slept on the couch and then I woke up at 5:30 and my parents were on the road by 6:00am. It was very sad leaving my Gram and Pap... they've been so wonderful to me. My mom cried a little in the car, and if I had the ability to cry tears from emotions, I would have too. It was sad to say goodbye, but mom kept saying that we'll see them again soon (Thanksgiving).

Uncle Dave and his family will be coming to see us this Saturday through Tuesday! It'll be nice to spend more time with them since I only got to see them for a day.

Mom has to call the pediatrician and make an appointment for me for my two-month checkup. I also have to get my baby shots... I'm not really looking forward to that part of the visit, but I am curious to see how much I weigh!!

This week I slept really well for my mom and dad. Last night I went to bed at 9:00 and fell asleep by 9:30 and then I slept all the way until 5:15!! My dad was very proud of me and hopeful that this will continue for the remainder of the week!!
