Week 12 (8-3-10)

After my first night in my crib! 8-3-10

Well, today I am 12 weeks old! Can you believe it?? I am such a happy baby and each day just gets better and better!

Last night was a HUGE night for me! I slept in my crib and in my own room for the very first time! My mom and dad put me to bed at 8:30 and I was sleeping by 8:45. I slept all the way until 6:45!! Mom was so excited to get so much sleep! I didn't cry at all! I liked sleeping in there and it was as good for me as sleeping in my parents' room! So, ten hours sleep AND in my new room... not bad!!

This last week my birth mom and birth grandma went to court to terminate custody of me, and I'm on my way to being fully adopted by my parents! I don't know much about adoption at this point in my life, but there's a picture in my room of me with my birth parents and my mom and dad. It was taken at my baptism and it's in a frame that says "Miracle." I think it's pretty awesome that my birth parents loved me so much that they found my mom and dad for me. I am one lucky little boy!!

Did you notice that my blog changed? The top has some links that you can click on... one is for this blog, one is for pictures on mom and dad's website, the other is for videos, my YouTube and then the last one is for emailing me! Mom really liked it and thought it'd be a great change.

Tomorrow mom's best friend Aimee and her husband Matt are coming to visit with their two boys Lucas and Tanner! I'm excited for them to come to NC and see our house! We are going to go to the ocean on Thursday and the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. I am going to stick my toes into the Atlantic Ocean for the first (of many I'm sure) time!! I'll be sure to make mom upload pictures on my Facebook page for everyone to see.
