Gus at 17 Weeks Old

Okay... here we are at week 17 already... which means I'll be four months old this Saturday! My mom cannot believe how fast time flies when you're a mom to a baby!! :)

My Gram and Pap just left this morning after coming down from MI for a nice Labor Day visit. They got here on Friday afternoon and then stayed all the way until this morning. It was so nice to see them! We had a wonderful visit with them and went to the beach on Sunday. I put my toes into the Atlantic Ocean again and loved it!!

Here are some pictures from the trip to the beach:

Today mom and I went over to her friend Katie's house for a playdate with her ten-month-old daughter Emma, and then another mom with her eleven-month-old son Finn. It was fun and I enjoyed myself... I really like looking at other babies!!

I've been doing well with using my hands more and more and this week I couldn't get enough of stuffing my entire fist into my mouth! I'd even put my fist in there while eating!

On Saturday I'll be four-months-old and my mom just can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday that we were in Michigan!! Mom is doing well with staying at home and entertaining me all day. We play a lot and I've even started laughing more and more. Mom has a video of me and Gram playing and I just laugh and laugh- it's on YouTube so check it out!!

I have my four month baby check up on Monday. Mom thinks I'm going to weigh around 13 pounds... and my Gram thinks I'll be close to 15. I'd like to know what you think... leave me a comment telling me how much you think I'll weigh on Monday and we'll see who got the closest!!

This week I did a great job of sleeping and slept for at least ten hours each night. That doesn't mean that mom and dad get ten hours... but I certainly do! I also do a great job of napping during the day- but if I'm super tired and needing a nap... watch out! I can be quite the crabby man!!

Well... I'll be sure to post again on Saturday with my four-month picture!!
Love and Hugs!
Gus

Loving those pics at the beach! Cannot wait to do the same with our little one (hopefully next summer!). Looks like you all are having a ball with each other! So happy for you all!

P.S. - I vote 14lbs (just to play it safe) - LOL!

I've been following everything about Gus and he reminds me very much of Peggi who was our oldest. She had all the agility and co-ordination he appears to have. I walked in one morning when she was six months old and found her standing in her crib. She had pulled herself up on the bars but didn't know how to get down. Thanks for sharing Gus's adventures with us.
