Week 18 (September 14th, 2010)

What a busy week we've had! On Wednesday, I went to another Meet-n-Greet for the MOMS Group with my mom and our neighbor Wendy. Wendy brought her daughter Ashley (she's two) and the bigger kids played, but I was only interested in eating. After the play date we went to the new pizza place in town and we had fun, but I wasn't happy. Then while mom was driving I had a melt-down. I just get so scared when I can't see her!

Then on Saturday, I turned four-months old! Mom took a lot of pictures of me with Pap's amazing camera. It makes mom want one for her birthday (coming up on October 2nd) or Christmas. However, she doesn't think it's going to happen for either event. If I had money and a job, I'd buy it for her because I know how much she loves taking pictures of me!

Yesterday I went for my two-month well-baby appointment. Because mom and dad are waiting to start immunizing me, it was a very easy appointment. I was weighed... and mom nailed it exactly (she's so good)... I weighed in at 15 pounds! Not too shabby! I'm still low on the CDC and WHO percentile rankings, but I'm growing and that's all that matters. I'm due to go back for my six-month check up in November.

Tonight I am going with mom on her GNO with Wendy and some other friends. She wasn't happy about having to take me, because it is Girls' Night Out and I am a baby and I am a boy, but dad has to work late and there's just no other way around it, other than mom not going. So, I'm going to go with her-- I hope I can be a good baby for her!
