Me at 19 Weeks!

What a busy week!! I went to another MOMS Club event on Thursday... we went to lunch at Quizno's in Fuquay. There were a lot of other moms there and everyone got to meet me and of course thought I was the cutest thing ever.

On Friday we loaded up the Edge and headed up to Indiana for Grandpa Walker's surprise 60th birthday party! We stayed the night in a hotel on Friday and then drove to Indiana on Saturday. It was such a great surprise for him. He had not seen me since I was two-months-old, so it was a treat for him and grandma to see how big I am now! While we were there we visited an apple orchard and petting zoo. It was my first trip to the cider mill and it was fun! The only bad thing was that it was hot and I was not happy in the Ergo carrier... so I had a MAJOR melt-down.  :(

Grandpa arriving and being surprised by the party! There were over 90 people there to wish him a happy 60th birthday!

The best surprise for Grandpa was a visit from me!

I loved spending time with Grandma too!

I stayed in Indiana until Monday and then we drove back to NC. Today I tried solid foods for the very first time! Mom fed me sweet potato puree and I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it either! Here are some pictures of my first time eating solid foods!

Who knows what this next week will bring for me! Mom turns 34 next Saturday and she is so thankful to have me in her life. She tells me all the time how much she loves me and she loves to play with me and make me laugh. I wonder if all kids are as lucky as I am to have a mom that cares so much for me!

See you next week!
Gus

So exciting to have your little one to share with your family and have him experience the love of the family as well. I totally hope we've got my little one by the time I turn 34 next September too. How perfect.
