Week 29 (November 30th, 2010)

Me at 29 Weeks Old!

So just like last week, this week has brought some BIG changes!! Not only did my Grandma and Grandpa Walker come for a nice visit, and not only did I experience my very first Thanksgiving, but, I also crawled!!!! Mom captured it on the Flip camera (the video is on the You Tube page)! I've been moving all over the living room! I also was able to stand on my own for a few minutes! AND... I'm getting so much better at sitting on my own too!

Grandma and Grandpa Walker came to NC to see me on Wednesday evening and they stayed until Saturday morning. We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, and then on Friday, they watched me so mom and dad could go to lunch and see the new Harry Potter movie. Then, Friday night we went to dinner at The Pit (I hear it's delicious) and went to Rita's for dessert!

This week I have started to respond to mom saying, "No!" I tend to giggle and think it's quite funny sounding. I like to grab mom's necklace of my fingerprint and she doesn't like it when I grab it. :)

I've been doing a great job with sleeping through the night and getting many hours of sleep. My morning nap has been eliminated (not by mom's choice) and I usually get to about five and then I have a complete melt-down. This usually lasts until it's bed time and then I crash in my crib. I guess there's just too much for me to see that I just don't want to nap and miss something!!
