Me at 48 Weeks Old!
Here's a nice run-down of my week:
Mom and I got up and then we went to Chick-Fil-A in Fuquay with Wendy and Ashley. It was a playdate and I mostly just sat there while the bigger kids played.
I had a good day though, and mom took some pictures of me playing and exploring her bedroom.
Mom dressed me in this really cute crab outfit and took pictures of me. She also took a video of me standing on my own for the first time! It's amazing how fast I can get myself up now and keep moving! I used to have to use the couch or mom's legs to get myself back up, but now I can do it myself!
We met Wendy and the girls for lunch at McDonald's and I actually got to go into the play area and play a little. It was super fun!!
After we went to McDonald's mom and I went to Wal-Mart and did our grocery shopping for the week. I got to sit in the cart like a big boy!!
We had a great day on Friday too! Our day was spent playing and napping. :) Here are some pictures from Friday:

Of course everyone loves the weekend! We spent the whole weekend watching movies and playing. It was awesome. On Saturday we went to the Dollar Store for some picture frames... here's me in the stroller:
Then we got home and mom took a bunch of pictures of me because she said I looked really cute. I agree!!
Daddy is teaching me to pet Elphie with gentle hands... I get so excited that sometimes I like to hit her.
Then mom thought it'd be really fun to take pictures of me eating. Not sure why everyone is so obsessed with watching me eat... it's not like I make funny faces while I eat. Right?
Every child should have as many toys as I have. As you can see in the picture below, I enjoy taking all my toys and spreading them all over. Here's a picture of me playing with Elphie in the middle of all my toys.
I noticed the sun on the bottom corner of the tv and I was trying to grab it. Daddy thought it was so funny, so he took a picture AND a video.
As you know, yesterday I celebrated my 11 month birthday! There's a whole post devoted to it, so check it out if you haven't yet.
That brings us to today. Mom's friend Judy came over this morning and we played for a little bit, and then mom took me over to Grace's so she and I could play together. I just love getting together with her. Then we came home and played for a little and I took a nap. When I got up, daddy was home!!
So this week, I've had five out of seven days that I took at least one nap during the day that was more than two hours. The longest was three and a half hours!!! Mom thinks I'm merging my naps into one long one. I can't help that I'm not really tired until lunchtime... then when I sleep, I crash for several hours. The good thing is that I'm able to get at least 12 hours sleep each night, and usually it's 12 straight hours. I think it's one nice thing I can do for my mom and dad... :)
See you later this week, On Thursday we're heading to Michigan and then Friday I go to court to have my adoption finalized. I'll officially be Gus Daniel Walker with a birth certificate to prove it!!! I can't wait to see Gram and Pap and show them how great I'm walking, and then to see Alex and Lily (my cousins), as well as my God Mother Jessica, Uncle Scott and Aunt Christie!! I'm also excited to see my birth mom and my grammy, as well as meet my great-grandma!!
