I'm writing from my Gram and Pap's livingroom! We arrived in MI on Friday and have been having such a great time seeing family and friends!
Here's a recap of my last week:
- Wednesday, August 24th, mom took me to Marbles Children's Museum and I had a blast! Mom posted pictures on Facebook, so check our her photos to see the fun! Mom is hoping that someone will get us a family membership so we can go back again and again!
- Thursday, August 25th, I woke up in a really bad mood and we went to church. I fussed the whole time. We went to Wal-Mart for stuff for our trip and then we came home and mom packed.
Gulbike's mom came over Thursday night to get the dogs while mom tutored Gulbike. They left and I said goodbye to Elphie and Ned.
-Friday, August 26th, we left NC at 7:30 am and drove to see Greta, Kevin, Ben, and Ayden. We had dinner with them and then Greta gave us some clothes and toys to take back to NC with us.
We arrived at Gram and Pap's around 11pm and we went right to bed.
-Saturday, August 27th, we got up and I played and then we went to Caroline's house for a BBQ. Caroline and mom went to college together, and she was mom's maid of honor in her starter wedding.
We stopped at Kroger on the way and I had fun in the car cart!
After Caroline's, we went to Uncle Scott and Aunt Christie's for Lily's birthday!
-Sunday, August 28th, we headed to Russell Island to spend the day with my birth family! I got to ride on a ferry for the first time!
I had a wonderful day and had fun playing with my birth parents, aunts, cousins, great aunt and uncle, grandparents and I met my Great Grandma!
I was able to celebrate my birthday with everyone and I had an Oreo cake that was delicious! I got lots of presents too!!
We got home and went to dinner with Gram and Pap.
-Monday, August 29th, we had lunch with mom's friend Amy Lynn and then we went shopping at Ikea and then went to Aimee and Matt's for dinner!
After dinner, we went to the park!
Tuesday, August 30th, we headed to Jungle Java for some fun with Anne and her kids Ava and Cole! I had a blast!
We went to McDonald's fir lunch then I came home and took a two-hour nap! When I got up, Pap and I shared some Doritos!
