Me at 24 Weeks Old!

It's been a pretty calm week for me... we haven't gone anywhere or done anything interesting this last week. We were supposed to go to the zoo with Wendy and the girls but we had to reschedule it for November 2nd.

Today is the Halloween party for the MOMS Club, but we aren't going to be able to go because we have our first post placement home visit today with our social worker! He is coming today and then again in January. Once he has visited twice, then he'll write up a report for finalization and it gets sent to Michigan. Mom and dad expect my adoption to be final around March or April... maybe May.

This week I have come SOOOOOOOOO close to rolling over from my back to my tummy! I get 90% of the way and decide to stop. I've also been getting better about trying to sit up on my own. I do a great job with some help, but it's sitting alone that's a challenge. Mom isn't worried though and she's just loving me being me and developing as I'm meant to develop! She's very laid-back and enjoying her time with me as much as she can!

I don't have any teeth yet, but they are definitely on their way. Mom thinks in the next month or so I'll probably cut them, but for now, they just irritate me a little and make me want to chew everything I can stick in my mouth.

This Sunday is Halloween and of course the house is decorated. I'm going trick-or-treating with the MOMS Club on Friday. Mom is so excited because today it's in the upper 80s and VERY humid, but by Friday it's supposed to be in the mid-60s! It'll be perfect for my costume. Mom isn't sure which one to dress me in... I'm a frog and a bee (in honor of both mom and dad). Here are some great pictures that mom took of me in my two costumes this week:

Here are the pictures of me as a frog:

The last set of pictures that I'll leave you with were from earlier this week. It was kinda chilly so mom put me in a pair of baby legs and a long-sleeved body suit.

See you next week!
:)

Love the bee and the frog! How ever will you decide? Also love the black and white stripes too adorable! His baby blue eyes are so bright!

Hope the home study went well! I am sure that was less nerve wracking that the pre-placement visit! Let's hope anyways!
